Overview

Horizon United Group played a vital role in supporting Laing O’Rourke’s efforts as part of the NSW Government’s bushfire clean-up program. Their work focused on ensuring the safe and thorough removal of bushfire debris from affected properties.

Scope of works

Horizon United Group’s team was responsible for various tasks that were crucial in clearing properties impacted by the 2019/2020 bushfires. This included managing hazardous debris removal and safely handling potentially dangerous materials, while ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding environment. The team’s expertise in debris removal and site management helped facilitate the recovery process, allowing property owners to take the next steps toward rebuilding.

By working closely with Laing O’Rourke, Horizon United Group contributed to the successful clean up of more than 3,600 properties, ensuring that each site was cleared with the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Their involvement in this important program supported the mental and physical recovery of affected communities, as the clean-up work helped to restore properties and provide a sense of progress for those beginning their recovery journey.
