Emma is the Founder and Managing Director of HUG, bringing over 30 years of experience in civil maintenance and construction across the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.

She has led major civil projects including haul road construction, tailings dam development and large-scale land disturbance works, with a strong reputation for delivering complex programs safely and efficiently.

Recognised for her leadership and commitment to industry excellence, Emma is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction and a multiple award-winning business leader.

Dayne has over 15 years’ experience across construction, resources, oil and gas, water infrastructure, renewables and main roads. Prior to his current role, he held senior construction leadership positions delivering complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.

With extensive experience managing scope, programme and budget performance. He works closely with his teams to maintain strong planning frameworks and drive productivity, while fostering a culture built on safety, accountability and clear communication.

At Horizon United Group, Dayne oversees operations with a focus on compliant, efficient and high-quality project outcomes, supporting the company’s continued growth across infrastructure and renewable energy markets.

Elise leads HUG’s Infrastructure Solutions division, bringing more than 12 years of experience across electricity transmission, substations and large-scale energy infrastructure projects. She has held technical roles across the Transgrid Group spanning site management, procurement, design and proposal leadership, with expertise covering the full electricity value chain from 11 kV distribution through to 500 kV transmission infrastructure. 

Prior to joining HUG, Elise was Proposal Manager at Lumea, where she led renewable energy and battery storage solutions from early feasibility through to design, grid connection and contract management. She played a key role in building infrastructure portfolios by delivering tailored, commercially sound solutions that support Australia’s accelerating energy transition.
